That's great. We're not CPAs and are not looking to replace them. CPAs are experts in recording the past – they put the right number in the right box and get everything filed on time, all of which is very important.  Instead, when it comes to taxes, we focus on how to minimize them over one’s lifetime which helps to have a higher standard of living for you and your family in the years to come.  CPAs certainly have a valuable role in your financial life, but they’re primarily recording history.  We’re interested in your future and work to make it the best it possibly can be.

Absolutely. we have found that most people do a pretty good job at saving for retirement but may not have a full plan for what to do with those accounts after retirement. What most people don’t realize is that all of the rules change at retirement – when you switch from accumulation to decumulation.  The goal is to make the absolute most of your available resources, or as I say in the book’s subtitle to “get the most juice from the squeeze”.
