1. How many leads does your system generate?
Great question. Let's start by defining some terms, specifically the difference between a "new connection," a "lead," and an "appointment".
A new connection is a person who we intentionally targeted on LinkedIn and moved them from being either a 2nd or 3rd degree connection to being a 1st degree connection. On average, we help our clients generate 400+ new connections per month.
A "lead" is a LinkedIn connection that represents any potential revenue opportunity for our client. We consider a lead to be a 1st degree connection that has responded in the affirmative to a specific solicitation we have engaged them with. This is done through a combination of LinkedIn direct messaging, LinkedIn Events, and LinkedIn Post Parties. On average. we can generate 80+ new leads for our clients per month.
An appointment is a "scheduled 15-minute phone call". For these we send our clients' online calendar to a lead who has expressed interest in learning more. And the prospect then initiates the action of scheduling our client's calendar. On average, we see 8-12 scheduled 15-minute phone calls per month.
2. How many appointments can I expect to close?
Through our training, clients have been able to move 90% of prospects who schedule an appointment to agreeing to have an initial 60-minute Zoom call for a more in-depth needs discovery.
From there, it varies on how effective the advisor is building trust and moving the sale forward. A good rule of thumb is to consider what your current close ratio is.
If it is currently less than 20% we can help you to double your closes through our training and coaching.
3. What are the typical case sizes for LinkedIn leads?
That depends on who you choose to market to (vertical industry and geography) and what strategies you bring to the table. We have seen life insurance cases as large as several million dollars of premium. (See videos above for specific examples.) The typical case size is $26,000 premium for "tax cases" and $214,000 for fixed index annuities. (This is based on our clients reporting these numbers to us. These numbers have not been independently verified by us.)
4. How do I qualify to participate in the "Maximize Your Wealth" LinkedIn author program?
We make our "Maximize Your Wealth" marketing collateral available to anyone who is licensed to sell life insurance, and is an active member of our Sage Smart Advisor Program. However, we do restrict territories based on geography and target industry so that none of our advisors overlap each other. For example, we would not have two advisors in Los Angeles both targeting the healthcare industry. The book template is turnkey, and focuses on making the case for both cash value life insurance, and more specifically Kaizen® (premium finance IUL).
The book can also be customized to a) pitch the specific life insurance product you want to focus on, and b) include your personal story and information.
We then deploy this book and YOU as the author as part of our turnkey, done-for-you Sage Smart Advisor LinkedIn Program on your behalf.
